- After touring for their hugely popular "Nature Of The Beast" release, April Wine had taken an 18-month sabbatical to recoup, returning to release "Power Play." This proved to be their biggest tour ever with big staging and light show. It was unfortunate that the next album, "Animal Grace" would see the band split apart and begin to falter. During this performance, the band consisted of vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Myles Goodwyn, guitarist Gary Moffet, bassist Steve Lang, guitarist/vocalist Brian Greenway, and drummer Jerry Mercer (he of the Mr. Clean appearance). This really was one of the more energetic shows, which was punctuated intriguingly by the 1970s prog-rockers Uriah Heep as the opening act. This show was on November 15, 1982, at the Oakland Auditorium in Oakland, CA.
