- The Action Research for Multiple Sclerosis Benefit Concert, held in honor of Ronnie Lane (ex-Small Faces, since deceased), and to raise money for a cure, and raise awareness of Multpile Sclerosis. This was a star-studded event that included such musical greats as guitarists Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton (also on vocals), and Andy Fairweather-Low, bassist Bill Wyman, drummers Kenney Jones, Charlie Watts, and Simon Phillips, along with percussionist Ray Cooper, vocalist Joe Cocker, and keyboardist / vocalist Steve Winwood. It was also nice to see Ronnie Lane sitting on the sidelines, enjoying the concert.
