- The man with amazing verbal skills, Busta Rhymes (Trevor George Smith, Jr) appeared amidst an eclectic line-up at the 2002 Area2 concert on Wed. August 14, 2002 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mt. View, CA. The line-up included Moby, David Bowie, Blue Man Group, Ash, John Digweed, DJ Tiesto, and more. What was odd (to me) about his performance was that he seemed concerned about a percieved lack of appreciation from the audience. He made mention to this several times during his set. In fact, the majority of the audience was not only appreciative, but very much into his performance. It's one thing to hear him on recorded songs, but it's something else to see his verbal abiities in person. Busta Rhymes can shoot out ennunciated words rapid-fire like no one else.
