- Punk rock's strangely quirky, fun representatives, the Buzzcocks performing at the Mezzanine in San Francisco, CA on July 27, 2006. They were touring for their latest CD release, "Flat-Pack Philosophy." At 30 years and still going strong, Buzzcocks performed their energetic set with genuine pop sensibilities with plenty of aggression, while still having a great time. Seeing the Buzzcocks really proved that punk rock can never die - and apparently can't grow old either. Age didn't seem to slow the band down at all. The band at this point consisted of vocalist/guitarist Pete Shelley, guitarist/vocalist Steve Diggle, bassist Tony Barber, and drummer Danny Farrant. Opening the show was The Strays, which featured Danny Farrant sitting in on a number or two.
