- Fronted by the infamous S.F. Bay Area musician, Scott Long, the Frontier Wives were an eclectic mix of country-twinged, folksy rock with a punk savvy. And that might not even describe it. The were a mainstay at the Cactus Club in San Jose, CA, which is where this performance was shot, opening for The Dickies on a New Year's Eve show, Sun. December 31, 1989. The band consisted of vocalist / guitarist Scott Long, guitarist Mik Donio, drummer Lex Van Den Burghe, and bassist Mic Jennings. (I'm hoping I have the correct members listed for this show.)
