Jonas Grumby - 12/05/1983 - Keystone - Palo Alto, CA
The band is Jonas Grumby, named after the skipper on Gilligan's Island. Originally from San Diego, the band relocated to the S.F. Bay Area, where they felt they might get a better reception. This performance was at the Keystone in Palo Alto, CA on Monday, December 5, 1983, opening for legendary musician, the late Roy Buchanan, along with another local band favorite, The Kidz. The band consisted of vocalist Jeff Haight, guitarist Robert Hampton, bassist Brian Mafi, and drummer Kris Traynor.
