PIERCE THE VEIL - 08/15/2008 - Warped Tour - Shoreline Amphitheatre - Mt. View, CA

Pierce The Veil is a San Diego-based band that touts itself as "post-hardcore," although others might argue that they are in fact closer to a modern/alternative rock version of Rush. That analogy would be mostly due to Vic Fuentes' vocal style. (The band covers Michael Jackson's "Beat It" with the vocals right on key. Nothing "hardcore" about that.) However one wants to classify them, PTV has their own sound with great performance. Here they played on the Ernie Ball stage at the annual Van's Warped Tour at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mt. View, CA on Fri. August 15, 2008. The band here consisted of vocalist / guitarist Vic Fuentes, bassist Jaime Perciado, guitarist Tony Perry, and drummer Mike Fuentes. There was a keyboardist who apparently is not named anywhere.
