Touring for the album "Danger Zone," Sammy Hagar headlined this Wed. July 4, 1980 Day On The Green at Oakland Stadium, in Oakland, CA. His band here consisted of Hagar on vocals and guitar, bassist Bill "Electric" Church, guitarist / keyboardist Gary Pihl, and drummer Chuck Ruff. I'm not sure if keyboardist Geoff Workman played offstage. The other bands on the bll included Blue Oyster Cult, REO Speedwagon, Triumph, and Randy Hansen.
